Mission Statement
Mission Junior High School will collaboratively work to inspire, nurture, and challenge all children by providing them with an optimal education and curriculum that honors individuality. In our quest to produce critical thinkers and independent learners in a safe environment, we will instill ethical and cultural values that will mold tomorrow's leaders.
Campus Goals
It is our goal to achieve the following objectives during the school year.
1. To become one team with one common academic dream for all students.
2. To become an Exemplary school by achieving 90% or better on all TAKS areas and by all student sub-groups.
3. To maintain 98% average daily attendance.
4. To establish a positive and supportive working climate for all staff and students that will result in optimum learning and working conditions.
5. To establish a safe and well disciplined school environment through consistent administrative support, Project Wisdom and the "Values First" initiative.
6. To continue vertical teaming for all content areas.
7. To continue a winning tradition in U.I.L. competition at the local, district and state levels.
8. To provide staff with current educational trainings in core areas that will prepare them to address the needs of all students.
9. To develop a five year technology plan that enriches the educational program.
10. To recognize student and staff successes consistenly.
